Expert legal services on the Regulation on Public Passenger Transport by Road and by Rail
After many years of intense debate, the European Parliament and the Council have finally agreed on a text defining the new rules for public passenger transport. In two years from now - in December 2009 - the Regulation on Public Passenger Transport by Road and by Rail will enter into force. It is expected to clarify issues of competition, market organisation and financing of public transport operations under the direction of public authorities.
In order to facilitate an adequate understanding of the obligations and opportunities that this crucial piece of European legislation brings to the sector, UITP negotiated a 10% discount on expert legal training and consultancy for its members.
