The milestones for all three processes are below:
30 June 2008
Candidates participating in the calls for papers and sessions must send their proposals (abstract, biographical note and commitment).
Session proposals are dealt by the UITP bodies through their respective Chairpersons and must contain at least the general concept and a description of the objectives.
Paper proposals are individually submitted using the electronic application form available at the following address: http://www.uitp.org/vienna2009/papers
Applications sent by other means will not be accepted.
15 September 2008
Candidates who responded to the call for papers and sessions will be informed of the decision of the Congress Programme Working Group.
30 November 2008
Deadline for submission of papers for the Expo Forums (abstract, biographical note and commitment).
Deadline for submission of the finalised and detailed session proposals.
31 December 2008
Candidates who responded to the call for Expo Forum sessions will be informed of the decision of the Expo Forum and Exhibitors Commission.
28 February 2009
All selected candidates must have submitted the requested papers and information (full text, updated abstract, biographical note, slide show).Speakers must commit to observing the “Speakers’ Guidelines for Vienna 2009” that will be sent during the selection course.
